Bika Football: Sixteen Qualify To Round of 16, Groups Revealed

After Monday games at Kawanda SS and Kabaka Kyabaggu stadium, the round of sixteen teams have been identified. 

Today the round of 32 of the Bika football tournament 2022 climaxed with three fixtures at Kawanda and Kabaka Kyabaggu grounds. 

 Ndiga edged Nkusu by 2-1 while Mutima Muyanja via penalty shootouts eliminated Mpeewo on 7-6 following a only all draw in normal time.

Ngonge is another clan that qualified to round of 16 after beating Butiko 4-2 in penality shootouts.

The other clans that have made to round of sixteen that will see teams pitted in four groups of four teams is the defending champions, Mbogo who thumped Ngabi Nyunga by 5-0 while Mamba Gabunga humbled Ngambi Nsamba by 3-1 over the weekend. 

Not like before, this year’s edition, at round of sixteen, the teams were grouped in four groups, the best two from each group will qualify to quarter finals. 

The round of sixteen games will kickoff on Thursday 14th, July, 2022 at different playgrounds. And at the same level, the games will be played at a home and away basis. 

Abu Mayanja from Mutima Muyanja leads the scorers’ chart now with 10 goals he scored in two games he played.
