Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga 4-1 St Charles Lwanga Kasasa.

Kawempe Muslim SS B 0-2 Kawempe Muslim SS A

Uganda Martyrs High School Lubaga defeated St Charles Lwanga Kasasa in Girls Football semifinal one by 4-1 score line on Monday 11th, July 2022 at Kawempe Muslim Secondary School Playground.

Latif Nakasi’ hat-trick and a goal from Catherine Nagadya were enough to give Lubaga based School a slot in the final of this year’s Girls Football in the Buganda Cup, 2022 edition. 

The lone goal for the Masaka based institution was scored by Ivet Achieng but was not enough to earn them a slot in the final. 

Another semi final which was played by two (2) Kawempe Muslim sides that is Kawempe Muslim A and team B, Kawempe Muslim SS team A registered a hard fought win over their Juniors by 2-0 score line.

Shakirah Nyiragahirwa

Allen Nasaazi tapped in Shakirah Nyinagahirwa’s cross to send them into lead by first half before Kuluthum Namutebi converted from a spot hence a slot in the final booked.

Earlier on in U16 boys semi finals, Seeta Junior School eliminated Kanjuki Junior School by 2-0 to book a slot in the finals.

Derrick Bukwadda scored the two goals to help his side reach final.

In another U16 semi finals played between sister Schools that ABC Devine Kangulumira and Mutundwe.

Mutundwe based Campus advanced to final after winning in penalty shoots.

The game in normal play had ended in a two all draw (2-2) but Mutundwe based School won by 8-7 in penalty Shoots.

Buganda Cup action returns on Wednesday 13th, July 2022 with four (4) round of Sixteen in Secondary School Boys Football at Ntaawo playground in Mukono.
