The Kayunga District 4th division league bounces back in action for match day 18 with three games on Thursday.
Leaders, KLC-Rays of Grace Football club pay a visit to neighbors in Kawoomya football club at Kavule Primary School. In the game, Kawoomya will be targeting a double against a team which they collected three points through boardroom points.
First round game ended in a boardroom points awarded to Kawoomya in a contest played at Rays of grace Arena. This came after the abandonment of the game in the 75th minute hosts requested for rechecking one of players of the visiting team when Kawoomya was leading by 1-0.
Rays of Grace FC aim for maximum points to maintain four (4) points lead while Kawoomya FC come in the match as party spoilers because they have nothing to lose and will be playing for pride.
The Kirugu based side, Rays of Grace lost by 2-1 score line to Ssezibwa Bukamba in their last game away at Namulanda Church of Uganda while Kawoomya fell to Nazigo Town Council FC by 3-1 at Nazigo R/C playground.
Elsewhere, on form Bbaale United Football club play hosts to Nazigo Town Council FC in a battle for placement at Kitimbwa R/C playground.
Nazigo TC FC who are second on the table will be battling 3rd placed side, Bbaale United who are just separated by goal difference.
The reverse fixture saw them share spoils in a barren draw (0-0) at Nazigo R/C playground.
Bbaale United has had a fine form winning all their second round games that is 2-0 over Busaana Select, 3-0 win to Bus Park Kirindi, 2-0 over Ndeeba Football club, 2-1 away to Kayunga United and Ssezibwa Bukamba.
Nazigo TC FC lone loss in second round only came against leaders, rays of Grace Football club at Rays of Grace Arena which ended in 2-0 score line.
Another battle for placement will be at Bishop Brown when home side, Kayunga United Football Club host Bus Park Kirindi Football club.
A win for Isma Kawawulo coached side, Kayunga United FC will bring them back in the mathematics of qualifying to Zonal Play offs.
Kayunga United FC will need to double their effort after losing their last two (2) home games that a 1-0 to KLC-Rays of Grace FC and 2-1 to Bbaale United FC.
Kayunga District Football Association was given Four (4) slots in the Greater Mukono Zone play offs which kicks off on Friday 17th, June 2022 in Mukono District.
