Women Football: Super League Clubs Delegate, Scovia Angeyo Donates Training Equipment to Kawempe, UCU, Promises to Reach to Other Eight

When others are silent, the FUFA Women’s Super League delegate, Scovia Angeyo donated refreshments and training bibs to two super League clubs.

Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC and UCU Lady Cardinals FC became the first beneficiaries on Scovia’s move to add value to the clubs she is representing in the football Parliament.

Angeyo, the former Lady Doves FC CEO asserted that they are the voice of these clubs an they need to be exemplary and to echo the sound they get from the clubs to the mother body.

“Today I have taken a previlege to come and attend the game between Kawempe Muslim and UCU and indeed they displayed a good game, Congs to UCU and hard luck to Kawempe because at the end of the day, football is a game of friendship, so the way to go is to create friendship between the clubs. ” Said Scovia.

“I paid a courtesy visit to both teams, I have given them water and contributed towards their training sessions by giving them bibs and I want to believe that that’s what we have to offer if we want to see women football developing, because we are the voice of these clubs and therefore we have to echo to the federation. “

Angeyo also revealed that the offer is not ending at only two clubs but she is going to reach at every club that is in super League, they only need to wait for her at their door steps.

“It’s not stopping at these two clubs but going to all clubs, the eight should wait for me, I had wanted to do this at the start of the season but due to tight schedule at my work I couldn’t but the other eight should wait for me. “

Even though, they are in Uganda’s top flight league, some clubs don’t have enough training equipment at their Grounds.

Another delegate who have been visiting clubs especially at their match day games is Justine Nambafu who represents Elite League clubs.
