Women Football: Bugerere WFC Hires Talent Developer, David Kamanzi as Head Coach

The first ever FUFA recognized Women football club in Kayunga District, Bugerere Women’s Football Club has unveiled head coach ahead of the forthcoming Buganda Women’s Regional League set to commence in few weeks.

The club that was launch at the end of February this year, has today revealed that talent developing coach, David Kamanzi will be the club’s head coach for the next three years.

At the Press conference held today at Makerere University Guest House, the Club President Abbey Munywevu unveiled this Former Kampala Queens FC technical member as the coach who is suitable to drive the club from the level where it has started to another level.

“As a club we announced the position which was vacant at our club, we got a number of applications but as a team, we saw that Coach Kamanzi is the best for our Club and believe he will take as to a greater level.” Said Abbey Munywevu.

 According to Munywevu, coach Kamanzi David who doubles as the head coach for Seat of Wisdom Secondary School in Mukono, will be at the club for the next three years.

“I am happy that I have joined this Club, and I urge Bugerere Women’s Football Club fans to be optimistic, expect good from the team, I accepted to work with this team without restrictions, I will work hard to see that this club go to another level, am confident that wome football has grown, its on another level, I am not new in women football, I have ever worked with Kampala Queens, also at Seat of Wisdom, so expect good because I also want to add something towards the development of this game and the Club. ” Coach David Kamanzi.
