Women Football: Jean Sseninde United Enters Serious Marriage with St Noa

The partnership which was announced on Monday, 08th November 2021 will see St. Noa Senior Secondary School become one of Jean Sseninde United’s women’s football development centres in the Eastern region.

They believe the partnership will be vital in ensuring more girls in the eastern region have to access to a safe space to play football alongside their education.

The Head Teacher at St. Noa Mawaggali, Leon Ssali, after the signing the partnership, expressed his excitement,

“We are excited to have Jean Sseninde United as one of our partners to developer women’s football, sports is a big part of our institution and football for girls coming in our region, we are ready to support this and see the young girls succeed.”

Jean Sseninde United General Manager Angella Nakintu, who represented the organisation at the signing, said,; “We are delighted to have St Noa on board so that we work hand in hand to develop women football in the Eastern region. We are looking forward to more extraordinary achievements together

Jean Sseninde United aims to create opportunities and a platform for women and girls to play football in a safe environment from grassroots to professional setups, and this is the first official partnership signed by the organisation that have big ambitions. The association is a step in the right direction towards achieving the organisation’s mission and vision.

In their move to have a professional football club in the country and an academy that will give chance to every girl child have access to football and education, the Red Ants are moving all over the country spreading the gospel.
