Maybe it’s not yet his time to die, Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert, a National Unity Platform presidential flag bearer narrowly survived a bullet meant for him.

Like they have been doing since Kyagulanyi started his campaign tours vying for big seat, Police and Military blocked him from accessing Kayunga and when he got out of his car, to ask why they are blocking him, Police replied him with something guessed to be a bullet to which he dodged

As if it wasn’t enough, Police continued to fire live bullets into people were on road sides waving to Kyagulanyi while in Kayunga, here they injured a number yet to be confirmed.

“Our lives are in great danger! After blocking our campaign in Kayunga, on our way to the next one in Jinja, the police and military as usual blocked the main road and diverted us to a remote road. This was as if intended to set us into their convenient ‘kill spot’.
When they thought no one was watching, the police and military shot the tyres of my car and directly into our windscreen, narrowly missing Hon Zaake and my driver.” Kyagulanyi narrating

About the shooting his music producer, Dan Magic and security office ASP Kato, Kyagulanyi via his facebook page said.

“Fellow Ugandans,

The police and military have attacked us yet again, shot and injured many of my team members and other Ugandans who gathered to wave to me in Kayunga. My friend and producer Dan Magic has been hit in the face! ASP Kato, a police officer attached to me has also been badly injured. Many comrades are gravely injured. Pray for us. Pray for Uganda. We shall overcome!”

Basing on such today’s saga, Kyagulanyi and NUP decided to first pause their campaign program as they investigate the situation.
