USSSA Wakiso Region Qualifiers: Semifinals On Friday to Separate Boys From Men

The epic Wakiso Region Uganda Secondary Schools Sports Association boys Qualifiers reached on semifinals and they will be played on Friday at Kisubi Mapeera grounds.

The tournament that kicked off on 28th March 2023 at Kisubi Mapeera has attracted 24 schools from Wakiso District and were pitted in four groups of six.

On Thursday, group stage games were climaxed and the Quarterfinals were honored on the same day.

In the first quarter final, Entebbe zone giants, St Mary’s Boarding Secondary School, Kitende beat Greenlight 3-0 before Buddo SS earning a hard fought 2-1 victory against London College Nansana.

St Juliana was stopped by Standard High Zana following a 1-0 full-time scored. Andy Mwesigwa and Kawempe Royal game wasn’t played due to technical issues and it was set to be played on Friday before the semifinals.

At semifinals, St Mary’s Boarding Secondary School Kitende will be playing against the winner between Andy Mwesigwa and Kawempe Royal and then Standard High School Zana will play against Buddo SS.
