USSSA Ball Games 2026: Bukedea Comprehensive,Nabisunsa Girls headline Day 3 as U17 Volleyball heats up

Bukedea Comprehensive delivered one of the standout performances on Day 3 of the U17 Volleyball championship, asserting their dominance despite an early setback, while Nabisunsa Girls remained firmly in the spotlight after a hard-fought encounter against Sheema High.
Bukedea’s campaign began with a 0-2 loss to Standard High School (23-25, 20-25), but they quickly turned things around with a series of dominant victories. They defeated Charity College (25-20, 25-17), Mubende Army (25-11, 25-10), St Mary’s College Namagunga (25-6, 25-12), and Jinja College (25-14, 25-15) to emerge as one of the most in-form teams of the day.
On the girls’ side, Nabisunsa Girls were pushed to the limit in a thrilling three-set encounter, narrowly losing 1-2 to Sheema High (18-25, 25-15, 12-25). Despite the defeat, their performance showed resilience and promise heading into the next round.
Elsewhere, Kyamate SS registered wins over Kigando and Entebbe SS, while St Paul’s Vocational and Seroma Christian continued their strong form. Tororo Girls picked up two important wins, and Wamatovu Muslim maintained consistency with victories over Adelante Africa and Wampewo Ntake.
