USSSA 2023 Rankings: Wakiso District still Unmatched

Reflecting on the recent performances in Uganda schools football, Uganda Secondary Schools sports Association has released the 2023 ranking with Wakiso District Schools top the list.
According to new rankings released, among all the top performing schools, St Mary’s Boarding Secondary School Kitende tops the ranks and others follow.
The Wakiso region based school won the boys national football championship in Forte portal and also conquered East Africa at FEASSA games held in Rwanda this year.
As it has been for quiet a long time Wakiso region stayed by their tall standing with 3 schools in top 10, other two in top half of the ranking while in Quarter with banned Kawempe Royal sitting 4th from the bottom.
Despite being the leading region the results standing by Mixed fortune, after Kitende Buddo SS in 6th rank, Standard High Zana is 7th completing Wakiso region’s top 10 appearance.
London College Nansana is 14th, Andy Mwesigwa sits 26th to complete the right path as St Julian and Kawempe Royal mixing in the bad fortune.

Kampala Region is the second most appearing region in top 10 with two schools in Kibuli SS [8th] and Kawempe Muslim while Old Kampala SS sits 33rd as Mengo SS came the lowest Kampala region ranked School having qualified for the first time.
Masaka region has St Henry College Kitovu 2, Africa with Hope 18, Blessed Sacramento Kimanya 24, St Jude 38 and St Benard 47.
Mpigi Region presented Royal Giants Mityana 3, Mityana SS 32 and Mpigi Mixed 44.
Teso region has Amus College 4, Teso Progressive 43,Alwa SS 45, Bukedea Comprehensive 54.
Rwenzori
Westville High School 5, Nyakasura 37, Fortportal SS 49 and St Mary’s SS Simbya 52.
Acholi region
St Joseph Layibi 9, Bishop Angelo Negri 16 and Patongo 29.
Busoga region
Jinja Progressive Academy 11, Jinja SS 17 and Victoria High 58
Mukono Region
Mukono King’s 12, Latifah Mixed 30, St Kalemba 31 and Dynamic SS 40.
Bugisu region
Nkoma SS 13, Sironko Progressive 19, Mbale Progressive 51 and Nabumali High School 57.
Bunyoro region
Kigumba Royal 15, Kabalega SS 56 and Panyandoli 60 as the Lowest ranked School without being banned.
Luweero region
St Denis Kijaguzo 21, Nakaseke International 23 and Mulusa Academy Wobulenzi 36.
Bukedi region
Tororo Progressive 22, Nakwasi Seed SS 55 and Tororo Town college 62 banned.
Kigezi region
Bishop Camboni 26, Kihanga SS Rukiga 28 andSt Gerald SS 34.
Lango region
Dokolo Progressive 39, Aki Bua 53 and Wisdom High 59
Westnile
Arua SS 42.
Karamoja
Lotukei Seed SS 48
