UPL: URA Visits Stubborn Soltilo Bright Stars in Days Early Kick-off
The Startimes Uganda Premier League Match day three kicks off as Soltilo Bright Stars will be welcoming URA FC on Thursday afternoon at 2PM at Kavumba Recreation Ground.
Soltilo Bright Stars have had a poor start, losing 0-1 to BUL FC in the opening game and shared spoils with Wakiso Giants in a 1-all draw in their second game.
URA FC have drawn and won one game in their two opening games of this season and they’ll be hoping to get more points from winless Bright Stars this afternoon.
However, Soltilo Bright Stars will be looking to build on the point they got in the last game and win their first league game.

“We are set and ready to take on Bright Stars FC and we hope to pick up our first away. We have trained well and ready for the task ahead. It’s an early kick off tie but this doesn’t scare us as we have played against the same opponent at that very time last season and we won.”

URA FC and Soltilo Bright Stars will meeting for the 21st time, URA FC have won 9 games, lost 2 and shared spoils in 9 games.
The last time the two teams met, was in the FUFA Super 8 and URA FC edged Soltilo Bright Stars 2-1.
Last season, URA FC defeated Soltilo Bright Stars 2-0 in Kavumba thanks to Ibrahim Dada and Kabon Living goals.
Soltilo Bright Stars are currently 10th on the table and a win will take them to 5th position while URA FC will go on top of the table if they win the game.
URA FC’s striker Joseph Ssemuju returns from injury and he is available for selection but the tax collectors will miss Shariph Kimbowa (minor knock), Justin Opiro, Godfrey Sekibengo (both back to school), James Begisa (compassionate leave) and Ibrahim Dada (injury).
Later at 4PM, Busoga United will welcome Express FC at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.
