UPL: Express FC, Wounded Busoga United in a Must Win Encounter

Winless Express FC will visit wounded Busoga United on Thursday evening at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

Busoga United have played two league games so far, winning 1-0 against Arua Hill in the opening game and they were hammered 5-0 by NEC FC in their last game.

Express FC fired blank in their opening fixture when they shared spoils with Mbarara City in a goalless draw at Wankulukuku.

Express FC head coach James Odoch is optimistic that his boys will do the work and win the game.

“We are playing a stubborn team especially when they’re at home, we shouldn’t base on their last game they lost 5-0. We must work extremely hard and stick on our game plan to take the maximum points.”

Striker Isaac Wagoina called upon Express FC fans to come and support the team.

“We are going to do our best to win the game, our target is three points, I call upon all Express FC Fans from different regions, to come and support us.”

A win for Express FC, will take them to the 5th position while Busoga United will equal points (6) with the first four teams if they beat Express FC this evening.

In the early Kickoff at 2PM, winless Soltilo Bright Stars will host unbeaten URA FC in Kavumba.
