UPL: ‘Abdallah is Not Immune to Defeats’, KCCA Returns to Season Default Setting
On his full debut at the return at KCCA as head coach, Abdallah Mubiru suffered a disappointing defeat on road and the woes continued at Lugogo.
In Jinja at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru, Busoga United came from a goal down to defeat KCCA FC 2-1. Ronald Kasamba and Emmanuel Ajo’s goals were enough to seal a victory for Busoga United.
Fresh from beating Vipers 3-1, bringing in new coaches, KCCA FC were shockingly defeated by Busoga United.
The game was delayed at the start due to heavy downpour and started a bit late which required the referee to officiate only 80 minutes instead of the normal 90 minutes.
However, in the early stages of the game, KCCA FC took the lead through Dominic Ayella’s well struck shot from outside the box.
Few minutes later before the break, Busoga United equalized through Ronald Kasamba. With a well delivered corner kick, KCCA FC ‘s defense failed to clear the ball out of danger zone and Kasamba took a powerful shot that left goalkeeper Ochan with no chance to save and conceded.
KCCA FC came in the second half hungry for the winning goal and made multiple changes.

The Kasasiro Boys nearly restored the lead through Ashraf Mugume and Usama Arafat but they were not clinical enough to find back of the net.
In the dying minutes of the game, Busoga United took the lead through Emmanuel Ajo’s beautiful goal that turned into a match winner. Ajo made a solo run with the long ball bouncing to beat the last marker and Ajo smashed the ball past the goalkeeper.
This was KCCA FC’s sixth loss in eight games this season and first loss under the new boss Abdallah Mubiru. The loss sent KCCA FC to the second last at the bottom of the table.
For Busoga United, they climbed to 9th position with 10 points collected from 8 games this season.
In the next game, KCCA FC will host Gaddafi FC on 1st December while Busoga United will Visit SC Villa on 3rd December.
