The betPawa Futsal Super League kicked off yesterday night at Old Kampala Sports Arena with three epic games.
Edgars Youth Programme FC beat Aidenal FC 5-3 in the opening fixture of the night before Futbol Club Luzira came from two goals down to secure three points off reluctant Kabowa Dream Team FC.
In the last game of the night, Kampala Junior Team FC (KJT) went riot against newcomers, Kawempe FC.
Kisekka Siraje, Mwebase Lameck had a brace for Aidenal FC while goals for Edgars were scored by Waiswa Amiri who has a brace and Male Derrick also appeared on the score sheet twice and Olwa Brian.
KJT who went riot on Kawempe FC, whose goals were converted by Jurua Francis who had a brace, Sekiziyivu Alvin, Kimbugwe Reagan, Kizza Joel and Ajuna Jordan while the only goal for Kawempe FC was scored by Luwangula Arafat.
Kabowa Dream Team FC had a 2-0 comfortable at the halftime break but Luzira in second half came all out to change the scoreboard reading with three important goals to win the night.
Nsubuga Abubaker and Lubega Derrick goals fro Kabowa were cancelled by Aziku Joshua, Abigaba Vicent goals and own from Alvin Nsamba handed Luzira first win of the season.
The day one action will continue tonight with three fixtures on card.
