Trials: Proline Academy Graduate Set for Turkey Trip
The former Proline Academy youngster, Martin Luther Ogaba is set for trials in Turkey.
The 18 year-old forward is set for trial at CERKEZKOYSPOR a Turkish based club before the end of October 2021.
The forward started his football career from Green Hill Academy and later joined UJL Academy which is located at the same school.
He was also at Proline Academy based in lugogo.
His Big tournament in his life was, league Ndogo in 2010 Kenya where he scored two goals
In 2012 his Academy, UJL (Uganda Junior League) made their second international tour in London and was called Keele International tournament in Manchester. They engaged with prominent academies in England and the club participated in the tournament in Liverpool Academy, Stock City Academy, Manchester United Academy , Manchester City Academy where they spent 8days .
In 2015 UJL returned to Manchester-England to participate in the same tournament. The talented Martin scored 11 goals for the Academy where he emerged as the top scorer.
In the same tournament, he played for a Trinidad and Tobago based team and displayed a very interesting performance.
Martin Luther Ogaba is one of future prospects for the Pearl of Africa.
Who is Martin Luther Ogaba?
Brief Profile:
Martin Luther Ogaba is a Ugandan promising star, born on the 30th January 2003 at Mulago Hospital (18years).
He is the first-born in a family of three kid, two boys (Him and his brother Carlton Ogwang Pharel) and one girl, Emily Among Natalie.
Martins is a son to Dr. Thelma Akongo a worker with the National Research Organization and Mr. Innocent Bidong Ogaba
Ogaba started his career in football in 2009 at Green Hill Academy, joined the side at the age of six years, he spent eight years at the Academy before moving to Uganda Junior League (UJL). The Academy was by then training at Kampala Parents football field.
Martin is a multitalented humorous young man; besides football he plays Rugby, swims and is a good actor.
He always represented his class and color in school competitions. He excelled in his primary leaving examinations with an aggregate of five (5) and later joined St. Mary’s college Kisubi (Smack). Due to his love for football, in addition to his studies he continued playing in the school club and participating in both inter-house and inter-schools football competitions.
After primary level where he got five aggregates, Ogaba joined St. Mary’s College Kisubi (SMACK).
The forward joined Proline Academy while in Senior four vacation (2020).
Currently, Martin enrolled at BUL FC, a Uganda Premier League side, based in Jinja City, Eastern part of Uganda.
