National Unity Platform principal and Presidential Candidate Kyagulanyi Ssentamu has been ejected out of Spice FM radio in Hoima immediately he started introducing himself to the listeners.

Yesterday Kyagulanyi’s campaigns were distorted by endless road blocks Police had on the way to Hoima town and the immediate President Museveni’s competitor did not mange to hold a rally in Hoima town as it was scheduled before.

Before leaving to Buliisa, Kyagulanyi decided to first have a political talk show at Spice FM a local radio station, where he paid one million Uganda Shillings.

However, with only five minutes into the show, a man identified as station deputy manager asked Bobi Wine to get out the studio because security told them that he is not supposed to be in that area.

“We are told that you are not supposed to be in this area so we request you to leave.” Kyagulanyi’s team was told.

Via his facebook page, Kyagulanyi showed his discomfort with the impunity in the nation.

Yesterday, we booked and paid to appear on Spice FM radio station in Hoima District.” Disappointed Kyagulanyi stated before adding “As soon as we got to the station this morning and started introducing ourselves, the police and military cordoned off the building and forcefully ejected us out of the radio station. We asked why they were doing this, and their answer was “orders from above“.

So far, we have been blocked from addressing Ugandans on thirteen radio stations across the country.

Payment receipt

Kyagulanyi asked Electoral Commission chairman, Justice Simon Byabakama to explain to him the meaning of digital campaigns when he (Kyagulanyi) can’t be allowed to use radios.

Mr. Byabakama and the Electoral Commission must tell us what the meaning of a digital campaign is, when we are not allowed on radio stations.”

“Above all, Mr. Tibuhaburwa and his friends are right to be scared. Ugandans who wondered why we have been calling him the worst coward in history can now see for themselves what we have been saying.”

Kyagulanyi asked people of Hoima and Bunyoro in general that this is the time for them to restore their lost Freedom.

To you people of Hoima and Bunyoro generally, the time is now to regain our freedom. And I thank you for the great reception you are giving us everywhere in the midst of great intimidation.” Kyagulanyi posted on his facebook page

According to program, today Kyagulanyi should be in Buliisa, Masindi and Kiryandongo.
