Stanbic Uganda Cup: Kampala Region Preliminary Draws, 55 Ready to Compete
Intensity goes high as Kampala region draws 55 teams for the Stanbic Uganda Cup preliminary round.
The 49th edition has attracted 55 teams with 4 non league teams and these include Ex -Villa, KCCA Corporate, Corporate 11 and Nabugabo Up deal ventures FC.
Nkugwa Peter the chairman competitions Kampala region led the draws that took place on Monday at their offices located at lion’s shopping center along Namirembe road.
Nkugwa hailed Stanbic Bank Uganda for the sponsorship and praised the transparency in conducting the draws.
“I thank Stanbic bank for the sponsorship up to the 49th edition and we have conducted the draws fairy and in broad daylight. We expect to play for the whole month starting 29 of November 2022. This is because also the regional league is under way.” He stated
Some of the participants praised the draws and the expect much from there teams.
