Stanbic Uganda Cup: “Express is a Big Team, to Us, It’s a Big Opportunity – Bul Coach On Semifinal Encounter

BUL Football Club assistant Coach, Richard Bakabulindi admitted that the fresh Regional champions, Express FC is a big side but they take their Semifinal Fixture against the latter as a big opportunity.

BUL FC going to be hosting the Red Eagles in a one legged semifinal of Stanbic Uganda Cup edition 2021 at FUFA Technical Center Njeru on 23rd this month.

In an interview with this website, the Isabirye assistant revealed that they know it better that they are to play against a big side but they take this semifinal as a big opportunity and they are going all out to win the game. 

“They [Express] are a big team, to us it’s a big chance, it’s not the first time we are playing Express, they are the league holders, CECAFA champions, so playing them will give us a good test, it will shade us a picture of where we are going. We also want to be where they are.” Richard Bakabulindi said before adding 

“They are well motivated, their fitness levels are high, but we are going all out to win because it’s only one chance, no second chance in this.”

Going into this game, at Njeru, Wasswa Bbosa charges will be from CAF Champions League preliminary round one encounter (second leg) against El Merikh of Sudan.

The other semifinal encounter is the one of Vipers and Police FC which is scheduled for 21st September and the final is on 26th the same month.
