Stanbic Uganda Cup: Disclaimer, It’s a Final Between Topflight Clubs, Vipers Demolish BUL’s ‘Factory’ With Eight Goals
Vipers Sports Club lost three cup finals but on their fourth attempt, in Stanbic Uganda Cup, the venoms gave no respect to Fortune Butto manufacturers.
The Venoms humiliated BUL by 8-1 in the 2021 Stanbic Uganda Cup edition final held at FUFA Technical Center Njeru on a rainy Sunday afternoon.
Vipers FC scored for fun to obliterate BUL FC in a one-sided eventful Stanbic Uganda Cup and on those eight, Yunus Sentamu alone had four on the day and Loki Ceaser Manzoki bagged a brace that took him to seven goals only in this final.
Livingston Mulondo aka C4 opening the scoring route for the venoms in the third minute before Yunus Sentamu and Ceaser Manzoki came in.
Livingstone Mulondo (3), Yunus Sentamu 26′, 48, 54’, 67’, Ceaser Manzoki 36’, 38’, Milton Karisa 65 and the only goal for BUL FC scored by Hamis Tibita, which came in 73 minute.
This is the most highest scoring final, and also won by a biggest margin, in the history of this competition in the recent history.
This is the second time, Vipers winning Uganda Cup in five attempts, their maiden victory came in 2016 when they beat Onduparaka at Nakivubo Stadium.
