Sponsorship: Bank of Baroda Again Come in for Kabaddi National Team
Once again the Indian owned bank in Uganda, Bank of Baroda came in with another support of ten million to Kabaddi Federation.
The 10M that was announced by the federation general Secretary, Edgar Mujuni is to cater for Air tickets for team Uganda that is going to be part of the Kabaddi League season 10 in India Haryana from 1st December to 16th December 2021.
According to Mujuni, the federation will take a team of 10 lady players and eight men for 8 professional league club, two coaches and government representative from National Council of Sports.
This is an exchange Kabaddi program, were all players shall earn financial benefits, and also have a number of India states friendly matches to improve Kabaddi sport in Uganda.
The teams are currently in the camp in Matuga but need a lot of support to achieve the objectives of the camp preparations of 15 ladies and 15 men. The team shall travel on 24th November and return on 21st December 2021.

The other partners on board include; Newton Propery Developers- bought one ticket,Afriasia Global supported with 500USD, Rama Nand Group of Companies – one ticket and 800USD, KCL Group- one ticket, Dennis Omodi, 500,000/-, Tata Uganda with eight millions and Airtel Uganda bought them five Air tickets not forgetting Daxesh who paid for two tickets.
For starters, Kabaddi as a sport invented in Uganda in 2018.
