Reports: Kazibwe Bashir Quits STV, Following Mbuga’s Direct Attack on Kyagulanyi

Reports making round on social media indicate that Investigative journalist and Kawempe South Member of Parliament Hopeful, Kazibwe Bashir Mbaziira quits his job on STV.

Kazibwe who joined the SK Mbuga’s owned television station few months back after leaving Bukedde radio, has been hosting program ‘Olwogwoto Lwa Work‘ and Sharp Talk with Tamale Mirundi.

According to reports, Kazibwe decided to quit STV after his boss (SK Mbuga) attacked his Party principal and National Unity Platform presidential flag bearer Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine.

Few days back within this week, SK Mbuga de campaigned for Kyagulanyi citing that he can’t lead Uganda, he is incomplete and don’t have support apart from his faked social media accounts.

” Your supporters who say that I am a cone man, ok fine I have brought money in the country where I stay… However, I am not like you who wants to sell the country to the whites… Yes, you could have all the numbers on social media because yes, you can create like over 100 fake pages… So don’t brag because we were the first people to do all those kinds of stunts.

 Finally, I want your funny supporters to know that those whites first approached me and I rejected them because I was so influential at that time. I have never seen such a greedy person as Bobi Wine… How then can you say that you can lead this country… Hmm, Ok let’s say we have not been that perfect, however, that doesn’t mean that you deserve any top political seat in this country” SK Mbuga directly attacked Kyagulanyi who is currently in Karamoja region hunting for votes that will bring him into the top seat come 2021.

Basing on that attack, it is reported that National Unity platform supporters asked Kazibwe to quit the job or he stand a risk of losing his seat in Kawempe South.

The Uganda Journalists Association president, Kazibwe is yet to officially pronounce his position.
