Prosper Football Academy Officially Launched

The Prosper Football Agency Officially on Saturday launched it’s football Academy that handle kids from the age of 7 to 17 years.
The Academy was established in 2019 by Dennis Namanya who got an inspiration from Coach Ronald Ssali.
Since 2019 the Academy the Academy has been training from Kyebando, a Kampala suburb until when they confirmed their shift to City High Kololo, now the Academy’s new home.
At the event held at their new home on Saturday 1 May 2021,the Academy Director, Dennis Namanya has revealed why the Agency opted to add on Academy in their business.
“We started in 2019, But we have been mostly known through Prosper sports agency.
The Agency which manages the U20 national team captain Gavin Kizito, Davis Kasirye and the likes.
We started while targetting kids from Kyebando but we have decided to go country wide and we ask parents to bring their kids because we have good coaches who can nurture them in football aspect and discipline-wise. Dennis Namanya, Academy Director told Media.
“We are launching a different Academy, we nurture and manage players beyond academy age since we have Prosper sports agency.
Other academies just throw away players when they exceed Academy age,.
In the interview with this website, Namanya revealed that active players like Moses Waiswa of Super Sport United (South Africa) and Jamal Salim Magoola have been there for the Academy especially in giving them training equipment.
The event also hosted the country’s best female footballer and U-17 Women national team captain, Juliet Nalukenge who advised the future stars to always keep discipline in order to achieve their dreams.
The Wakiso Giants Chairman, Hassan Lule, the day’s Chief Guest had a word of encouragement to kids and the owners of the Academy.
“In Uganda we lack Academies that can bring quality players, for Wakiso Giants, we hava been working with the academy and we will remain in good line with them.
They are tested and transparent.
For Parents, football is the most paying profession so I advise perants to find good academies for a better future for their kids“
