FUFA Women’s Super League: Shadia Nankya Carries UCU to Semifinal as She Corporate Fails Group B Tough Test
Despite the howler made in the UCU Lady Cardinals-Lady Doves on Friday, today High Tower defender Shadia Nankya carried the Cardinals to semifinals with her lone Strike against Olila WFC in their last group B decider.
The defender, scored from free kick, 40 yards from the goal line, it came three minutes to half time whistle.
Shadia Nankya Scored her second goal of the tournament both came through set pieces.
Like any tournament team, UCU Lady Cardinals never displayed their usual performance but managed to contain the Olila WFC in the tough encounter played at Rays of Grace Academy Playground.

Their failure to win a crucial game yesterday against Lady Doves, She Corporate FC at the end of the tunnel could not make it out of the group despite the five goals scored today against Isra Soccer Academy WFC at Njeru on Saturday.
Corporate finished as third with seven points.
The Cardinals topped the group with nine points in four games while Lady Doves FC came out as second with eight points.
If nothing changes, UCU Lady Cardinals will be facing Uganda Martyrs Lubaga WFC on semifinal as Kawempe Muslim Ladies and Lady Doves FC square off at the same level.
The semifinals will be played on Monday 03, May 2021 and final scheduled for Wednesday 06 May 2021, all at FUFA Technical Center Njeru.
Fazila Ikwaput still tops the scorers’ chart with seven goals and Hasifa Nassuna with three goals.
