Pilsner Monthly Awards: Charles Bbaale takes April by Storm, Scoops Another Accolade from Beer Company

The month of April has been fruitful for the Sports Club Villa goal poacher, Charles Bbaale.

Immediately after receiving an award from Fortebet Real Stars on Tuesday at Lazio Restaurant, today, Thursday, Bbaale was named the best player for the same month by the official beer partners of the Uganda premier league, Pilsner Lager.

To win the accolade coupled with a appreciation token of one million shillings, the forward beat Arua Hills striker, Innocent Ronald Media and Kimbowa Shariph of Wakiso Giants FC.

Bbaale in the month of April, he scored five goals in the five games he played, and on top of that, he scooped two man of the match awards in the games against Wakiso Giants and Soltilo Bright Stars FC.

“Glory be to God that I have reached on this victory, I am happy that I am the outstanding player in this because we have been three in the race but it’s me who won it, reaching at this, It has been following the instructions of my coaches and the support from my fellow players.” Said humble Charles Bbaale on Thursday evening after receiving his accolade at Kati Kati Restaurant Lugogo.

At the same event, Express FC tactician, James Odoch was also awarded as the best coach in the month of April, he beat his counterpart from Vipers SC, Alex Musongola and March winner Jackson Magera of SC Villa.

In four played games in the league, Odoch helped Express to win two and draw two to secure eight points out of the possible 12.

His opponents in Alex Musongola Isabirye, played six games, won three, drew two and lost one, collected 11 points out possible 18, while Jackson Magera, guided Villa in five games, managed to win three an lost two, accumulated nine points out of the possible 15.
