On Saturday the president of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni had a state of the nation address talking to Ugandans about the security of the country amidst rampant abductions and disappearance of Anti-NRM supporters.
Museveni hinted on a number of issues including the sanctions and bans Western countries are planning to impose on Uganda and individuals who distort human Rights.
Museveni said that EU banning some individuals in his government is being unserious because they can live without traveling to their countries.
Basing on his speech, his critic, Mukono Municipality member of Parliament, Hon. Betty Nambooze Bakireke wrote him a message asking him not go off track (obutekubya Yaka) because Uganda still need the writes more.
“Tuve mu kwekubya Yaka, we look funny when we wear a brave face and denounce EU when we know that the same people are our funders and I trust that the Presidential advisors like Full figure and Butcherman can articulate this so well and advise accordingly.” Nambooze

Hi, Mzee Museveni…Bongera eyo mwana.
Yesterday you were on TV speaking to us and posed a question….. whether we can die if we dont travel to European countries. In particular I have heard that you said that…” I read in the newspapers about the European Union (EU) Parliament sanctioning some Ugandans from traveling. For anybody to think that Africans are dying to go to Europe is something that shows lack of seriousness,”
I write to say that indeed you and me cant live without those journeys and its indeed so worrying that some collegues have been banned from travelling there.
Yes,you cant survive without travelling to the Bazungu’s countries….I recall some years back you picked a pen and paper and defended your family for having.used the Presidential jet to take your daughter to Germany to deliver a baby.
In that letter you explained that it would be damn stupid for you and members of the first family to surrender your veins to recieve an injection from a Ugandan medic.
You explained to us that those are the little things we Ugandans should let to pass in view of the sacrifice your family has made for the good of Uganda.
Well….I must declare that when the SFC you sent to Parliament to secure your future on the ballot paper broke my backbone Uganda Government sponsored me for a medical trip to india…And other many comrades have benefited from the same. As a country we spend 365 billions a year to take various people for specialized treatment in those countries annually.
Mzee,I hope now you are reminded that me and you,dont just go to visit Bazungu out of friendship…we need the West to at least treat us as individuals and as families. Maybe you picked that stubbornness due to age and they days you refuse to go to hospital or take medicine when you’re sick. Your age mate my father does such things. But if we are to say that maybe you,you nolonger value treatment…what about Maama and our lovely sisters,brothers,the in-laws and friends.
By the way,we in Mukono didn’t watch your “show” yesterday evening because Umeme switched off the whole town only to switch us back as you delivered your wishes and thanks to those who had been watching.
Still it’s that Muzungu Zuckerberg of Facebook who has assisted me to catch up with your National address…Interestingly some days ago you dismissed Zuckerberg as an arrogant and useless service provider whom we can afford to lockout of our country. This was because he blocked your much loved Muzukulu Ashburg Kato and others from his(Zuckerberg) world.
The world has now listed three great worlds no one can afford to ignore; China,India and Social media.
