Mukono DFA League Climaxes, Legends Crowned Champions as Mini League Venue, Dates Revealed

Mukono 4th Division DFA League Final: 

Nantabulirirwa FC 0-1 Legends

Bukeerere FC 0-3 Seeta Nazigo FC 

The Mukono District Football Association 4th Division League climaxed on Saturday, 27th May, 2023 with Legends FC lifting the title.

Legends the Mabira group table leaders managed to beat Satellite Group giants, Nantabulirirwa FC 1-0 on an epic final honored at St Balikudde Playground in Kisoga on Saturday.

On the same date, the DFA got the ninth team tht is going to represent the district in the Mini League playoffs slated for 11th to 18th June 2023. The fifth placed sides of Mabira and Satellite had to meet to find the best team and Seeta Nazigo FC joined the eight teams that qualified automatic to playoffs. The latter beat Bukeerere FC 3-0 to seal the slot.

Mukono District will be represented by nine teams and the confirmed ones are; Legends FC (district champions), Nantabulirirwa FC, Nantabulirirwa One FC, Seeta Nazigo FC, Seeta Young Stars FC, Kisoga United FC, Kimera United, Shavie FC and Bajjo United.

In the Mini League that will run for eight days in Buikwe district, will be looking for one champion who will represent the zone one in Buganda regional league next season.

Kayunga district and Buikwe the hosts are the other districts fighting for this one slot for Zone one.

Nazigo TC FC (Kayunga district champions), Kayunga United FC, Nateta/Kayunga Town FC, Bbaale United FC and 5th placed team will represent Kayunga district in the 2022/23 Buganda Zone One Play offs which will be hosted in Buikwe District.

Buikwe will be represented by Nkokonjeru FC, Kalagala 11 Tigers FC, Mwana Conquerors FC, Malongwe United Football Club, Njeru Football Club and Naminya Football Club.
