The Alleged Ministry of Health Worker Dies at Health Centre Premises With No Help

The alleged Ministry of Health Worker identified as Semanda Mad on Sunday morning was found dead at Kyanja Community Health Center.

According to this website’s correspondent, Mad was the driver of one of Ministry of Health vehicles.

His body was found in the compound of Kyanja healthy Centre near the toilet.

According to the healt workers at the centre, it is alleged that the deceased went to the hospital on Saturday seeking for medication, but the medical workers thought that he was suffering from COVID-19 because of some the signs he had.

After fearing to handle him, the workers advised Ssemanda to get a boda boda to rush him to Mulago Hospital where Covid-19 cases are being handled.

However, it was already past to moving time for boda bodas, the deceased failed to get one and he decided to get back home.

However, on his way back, Semanda lost energy and fell against the wall of the Health Centre toilet where he later took his last breath.

The residents took blame to the Kyanja Community Healthy workers and the Police who showed  carelessness when the person was losing life.

Police delayed to reach at the scene as well as the Ministry of Health officials, two men identified as the deceased’s relatives evacuated the body from the compound after seeing a heavy downpour.
