The Arsenal and Buddu fans in Uganda almost have the same behaviors when their teams win or lose.
Most Buddu fans are from Masaka and hopefully the bars in Masaka are in serious losses following the defeat subjected to Buddu by Busiro in the final honored at Muteesa II stadium Wankulukuku on Saturday in the absence of His Majesty the Kabaka of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi.
Busiro edged Buddu 2-1 to lift their maiden title of Masaza Cup, since the tournament came back in action in 2004.
Ofoyrwoth Isaac and Masuudi Kafumbe scored the two goals for Busiro while the only goal for Buddu was scored by Kalanzi Denis.
The Simon Mugerwa coached side scored first in the 42nd minute through Ofoyrwoth Isaac before Kalanzi Denis cancelled it with a header in the added minutes of first half.
Super sub, Kafumbe Masuudi who came in, eight to final whistle, scored the winner for Busiro in the 90+3 minutes to silence Buddu fans and sent Busiro fans into crazy mood.
The Buganda Kingdom primer, Owek. Charles Peter Mayiga stood in for his Majesty the Kabaka of Buganda and awarded the trophy to Busiro.
Busiro walked away with 12 million shillings prize money, Buddu took 9m.
Muzanyi Hakiram voted the most valuable player of 2022 season.
