The free money spending tycoon, Kiwanuka Sulaiman held a successful end of year Party for the residents of Seeta-Namuganga Sub County that ran them crazy due to exciting activities that occurred on the day.
For the past few months, the former member of Parliament Aspirant, Kiwanuka Sulaiman has been transversing Nakifuma County with a reason of making himself known to community that abandoned him during election period.
True, it might be a great idea for the Spartans FC boss, the electorates started falling for him, from Namataba, Kasawo Sub County, Kimenyedde and at Seeta-Namuganga Sub County, it was massive for him.
Yesterday, Kiwanuka held a successful end of year party dubbed ‘Ekibbiitu Ky’Ebyemizanyo Ne Kiwanuka Sulaiman‘ which took place at Namanoga village and it had a number of activities running from cycling, eating competition, Netball, Athletics, boxing, singing, Football and dancing competitions.
Of course every country, Region, district, or village has its favorite sport and the super star (Celeb) in that area, according to what transpired, Namanoga is a village that is passionate of cycling and their super star is Azizi Ssempijja, village darling, ofcourse they were thinking darling was to win the 32km race that lasted for 4 hours but a boy from Nakifuma [Dawson Senabulya] watered down the excitement of Azizi’s fans when him beat the latter to finish line and won 300,000/- prize money.
It’s no longer a hidden secret, Kiwanuka Sulaiman though wants to have a seat in the August House, but according to him, the main aim is to develop talents in his area and to make Nakifuma a Uganda’s Brazil, in fact he wants every sub county in Nakifuma to have a league playing Club.
“I have a burning passion for sports development in Nakifuma. There are so many rich talents that need a helping hand to be groomed and developed, not only in football, people of this area love cycling, boxing and I feel like adding them on my promotional list.” Kiwanuka Sulaiman told this website.
Netball, attracted six teams and Kitale won the the challenge after beating Nakifuma 17-09 on final.
In athletics [100m], Innocent Bisaso won, Patrick Bogere and Umar Mukuye became second and third respectfully.
In the musical break, Kiwanuka Sulaiman had to enjoy traditional dance with the locals and he ofcourse splashed cash in 50,000/- notes
Football had three games, the U16 match, where Esteem Soccer Academy (Kasawo) beat Stoppage Soccer Academy (Namuganga) 2-0, thanks to Hannington Akena brace in either halves.
Friends of Kiwanuka beat Media Select 2-0 before the main match of Seeta-Namuganga and Spartans FC, the former won the game 7-6 via spot kicks following a one all draw after fulltime.
The last sports event was boxing that was played under floodlights.
Then finally, the locals went crazy towards the end of the year celebration, dancing with no rules as they entered 2022 where they asked for some more from Kiwanuka.
For all the sports events, all the teams were fully dressed up by Kiwanuka.
These included six netball teams, 2 academies; Friends of Kiwanuka team, Seeta Namuganga team and the sports journalists team.
The events are planned to be held on a regular basis around the various places in Nakifuma as Najja, Namaliga, Naddunga, Kasana, Muchomo, Ssaza, Kiwanga, Kimenyedde, Kasawo, Bukasa, Kelezia, Kisoga, Mayangayaga, Wagala, Namuganga and St.Deo among others.
