Kampala Regional League: Mutungo Slows Down CATIDA’s Speed

CATIDA FC 1-1 Mutungo FC
Mutungo FC tame CATIDA Perfect start of the season following a one all draw in an encounter honored at Coffee Grounds at Bugoloobi on Monday.
Yokole Talibu 62nd minute strike for Mutungo was cancelled by Angello Ssempijja in the 67th minute for both sides to leave with a point each.
Mutungo had the control of the game in the first half but all their efforts produced no goal and it ended in the barren.
CATIDA FC Goalkeeper Isma Juma Maganda having pushed Faruk Kaigwani’s effort over the bar for a corner 6 minutes into second half and Isaac Okaffo Hadson chance to take his side in front was denied for the corner.
The second half have been a mixed fortune for both teams and finally Yokole Talib put Mutungo in the lead in the 62nd minute.
However their joy on the top was short lived, five minutes later, Angello Ssempijja through free kick handed CATIDA a leveler.
The game ended with CATIDA FC fans throwing some bitter words towards referee Ismail Matovu complaining on his game handling.

While his compatriot of Mutungo FC Fred Kagonyera had his words clear “all our thoughts were about to win and we got a lead but unlikely we conceded immediately after getting a lead”
The game left CATIDA FC keeping themselves in the lead with 19 points from seven games with Mutungo FC compiling 12 points from 6 games registering 3 wins and 3 draws.
Mutungo FC shall return to action on Thursday 14th December at Luzira prisons against Edgars FC while CATIDA FC shall be back on Saturday 16th December visiting Edgars FC.
