Kayunga: I Fulfill When I Promise, Tebandeke Officially Hands Over Ambulance to People of Bbaale
It was all joy on Sunday 1st August 2021 as People of Bbaale Constituency, Kayunga District receive their brand new Ambulance donated by Legislator, Hon. Charles Tebandeke on the ceremony held at Bbaale Health Center IV premises.
While commissioning and handing over the Ambulance which he named the moving Hospital, Hon. Tebandeke called upon the locals to use it well to benefit the whole Constituency.
“Today i have decided to call you to officially hand over this Ambulance for the trust and love you showed me during the 2021 general elections.
Immediately after becoming the Member of Parliament I promised you that it’s now time to work” Stated Hon. Tebandeke Charles
“Women have been losing their dear lives when being transported for treatment to referral because of no immediate transport means. I call upon you all People of Bbaale to use this Ambulance well”.
“Let us not involve Political differences in the usage of this Ambulance because I represent all the People of Bbaale Constituency”.
Hon Tebandeke highlighted on who will be the beneficiaries of the Ambulance.
“Bbaale Health Center will be the home of this Ambulance but all the Health Centers, Four (IV) and Two (II) when calls alerted and the local People deep in the Villages will use it when need arises”
Bbaale Constituency has Five (5) Health center IVs that is Nkokonjeru, Wabwoko, Lugasa, Galiraya, Kawongo and Bbaale with Three Health Center Two (II) that is Nakyeesa, Kakiika and Kasokwe.
While receiving the Ambulance on behalf of Bbaale Hospital, Dr. Kenyi James, expressed his gratitude for the history made.
“For all along, we have been yearning for is this Ambulance. We are very much excited for this new transport”.
“I can now believe in the words you used to tell us during the campaign, Bbaale Kuntikko. I remember the 12th, July when you came here and one of my request was an Ambulance such that we ease transport for our patients when are referred for better treatment”.
The ceremony started with Prayers led by Men of God from St Andrews Church Bbaale Sub county.
To abide by the Government and Ministry of Health Standard Operating Procedures, the function was attended by few invited guests.
Kayunga District acting Chairperson, Joel Kayiira, Senior Politician and also the Director Bright Future Senior Secondary School, Moses Owuma, Former Woman MP Aspirant Kayunga District, Hon. Harriet Nakwedde, Kayunga District LCV NUP Aspirant, Rajab Ssenkubuge and Other District Leaders attended the Ceremony.
