Health: Prime Minister Commissions Vaccine Access Initiative Facility In Ntinda

Prime Minister of Uganda Hon. Robinah Nabanja has commissioned a vaccine access initiative facility in Ntinda on Wednesday.

The facility center located in Ntinda Kampala has a capacity of vaccinating 4000 people per day and also in the same center there is possibility of establishing a vaccine manufacturing plant in Uganda 

Hon. Robinah Nabanja says; “Vaccine Access Initiative will strengthen the private sector in vaccination against COVID-19 across the country”.

She also added that “this initiative will symbolizes and strengthen the private public partnership efforts.”

The government at this point is very determined to make sure that every ugandan get COVID-19 vaccine.

Private sector like microhem group of company through Dr . Cedric Akwesigye has assured all Ugandans. 

“Ministry of health has approved this facility and all kind of vaccine will be available for the people of Uganda.”

Also added that since in government facilities there alot of congestion during the time of vaccinating people at least 20000 will be paid for in order to get any kind of vaccine that the person needs.

Ministry of health together with microhem vaccine access initiative will expand all over Uganda and this is due to the fact that COVID-19 has taught a lesson to many people in the world.

Uganda launched it’s vaccination program against COVID-19 last year in August. There fore such initiative has come in right time in order to avoid regrets.
