General Elections 2021: Tibuhabulwa, Tumukunde Among Those To Be Nominated Today

The Independent Electoral Commission of Uganda yet again has a busy week especially its first two days which is Monday and, the days they are to nominate presidential candidates for the forthcoming 2021 general Elections.

Over 10 Presidential Aspirants have been cleared to be nominated on those stipulated days and the Incumbent President Yoweri Tibuhabulwa Kaguta Museveni and the former Minister of Internal Affairs, Henry Tumukunde Kakurungu who came as Independent, are to be nominated today Monday 02nd, November 2020.

The venue where the nominations will take place is Kyambogo University Sports Group- Kampala and according to Uganda Police Force directives, public transport and normal movement of people around Kyambogo were prohibited.

Other Aspirants to be nominated on those two days, include; Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert of National Unity Platform whose nomination date is 03rd November at 11:00am, John Katumba, Joseph Kizza (Independent), Willy Mayambala, Fred Mwesigye, Patrick Oboi Amuriat of Forum For Democratic Change, Mugisha Muntu for Alliance For National Transformation, Linda Nancy Kalembe.
