Futsal: Nansana ASKA Unveils New Head Coach, Sets High Target ahead of second Round

The betPawa Futsal Super League clubs, Nansana ASKA [All Stars Kampala Association FC has on Saturday, 24, February, 2024 unveiled new Head coach ahead of the second round.

The Nansana based futsal side believes that they are a big brand and a team in the league and see themselves in the top positions of the league. Basing on that vision, they have decided to depart the coach, they started with the season, Manda George and replace him with a coach they believe will take them far in the success line.

While at Pope Paul Hotel in Kampala, the Club’s Chief Executive Officer, Isaac Okolimo unveiled Muhammad Ssenfuma as their head coach for a period of two years.

“We’re here today to unveil a new coach, Muhammad Ssenfuma is a gentleman who has come with enough experience.” Okolimo stated before adding. “He has been in the league, once a champion coach with Kabowa Dream Team, so we believe as ASKA, if we have his services, we shall be really good to go and compete so well to become also the champions of 2023/24.” confident ASKA CEO, Isaac Okolimo.

Ssenfuma comes with a varsity of experience.

“He has a CAF B coaching license, a certificate in Futsal Coaching, so we believe with all the qualifications and the ideas he is the right person and we’re so much hoping to see that we work together to develop our Club.” He added.

Ssenfuma also commented about his official move to ASKA.

“I have been hired by ASKA, currently they are 5th on the table but I want to make sure that I maintain and even try to do something and even to win the league.”

“Yes I have enough experience in the league like the CEO has mentioned, I won the league and Uganda cup, so I am going to use my experience to see that the team doesn’t decline but to keep on progressing.” Said Muhammad Ssenfuma.

The Super League club finished first round with 21 points in 5th position on the log and they are 10 points behind Park FC who on the top of the table.

Meanwhile, the same club has revealed the technical team of their Oldies team that plays in Oldies’ league.

The head coach of this team is Kibanda Owen who also promised that they will win the Oldies league this season.
