FUFA Women’s Elite League: Luweero Giant Queens Come from Two Goals Down to Register Maiden Victory Against Dynamic

Luweero Giant Queens came from two goals down to beat Dynamic Jjeza WFC 3-2 in the opening fixture of the 2021 FUFA Women’s Elite League held at Njeru Technical Center.

Florence Nakaggwa, Teddy Achandi and Sandra Ndagire were on target for the newcomers while Dynamic had their goals from Aisha Namukaaya and Daphine Nalubowa.

Luweero Giant Queens first had the a good ten minutes and had a chance to get the lead first but they were naive. They grew on the game after conceding two goals in first stanza.

Dynamic Jjeza got a lead in the 17th minute, Aisha Namukaaya pressed the ball at the back of the net with a lot of ease following a well constructed move.

They kept on pressing and in the 34th minute, Daphine Nalubowa to double the lead for Dynamic in first half.

In the second half, Luweero Giant Queens come back for second when well composed and the early Substitutions changed the entire play for the newcomers and in the 64th Florence Nakaggwa got a consolation, six minutes before Teddy Achandi leveled the matter.

Sandra Ndagire with a long range from right flank won it for the newcomers in the 78th minute.

Now Luweero Giant Queens leads the table with three points.
