FUFA Super 8: KCCA FC, SC Villa Vie For Third Place.

The 2023 FUFA super 8 comes to an end on Sunday 3rd September with two matches all to be played at the MTN Omondi stadium in Lugogo.

First will be the 3rd place playoffs where KCCA FC will take on SC Villa at 2:00pm then at final at 4:00pm between BUL FC and URA FC.

At the semi finals, KCCA FC were eliminated by URA FC with a 2-1 score line while BUL FC defeated SC Villa 6-5 in penalties after a 1-1 stalemate in normal time.

Both teams kicked off the tournament with victories where KCCA FC beat Wakiso Giants Fc 2-0 while SC Villa recorded a 2-1 narrow win over Maroons FC.

Heading to this fixture the Lugogo side (KCCA FC) have won 13 of the last 26 meetings with SC Villa.

The Jogoos have only 3 wins while 12 have ended in draws.
