BRL: Kajjasi in Positive Reaction as Red Star Falls again

After losing their fixtures against Entebbe Pride and Uganda Sports Arena/Bugerere United, Kajjasi United had a positive reaction over the weekend with a convincing 4-0 win against Lukaya TC FC.

Their 4-0 win was registered on Saturday at Uganda Clays Playground Kajjasi 

A win lifted them to Seventh place on the log of Katonga group accumulating four points while Lukaya Town Council fallow to 9th position with four points.

Another giant in question Entebbe FC just secured a second point of the season after 4 games.

A goalless draw against Masaka City on Sunday 26th November 2023 left Entebbe in one position above the red line while Masaka City is two places above with 4 points in 8th position in a 13 logged group. 

In other group of Buganda Regional league Ssezibwa Buikwe Redstar continued their bad start of the season, losing 3-1 to Wobulenzi FC who faced points docking penalty just hours before game day.

Veteran Elkanah Nkugwa was a star in helping Wobulenzi FC recover some points. 

After the game Wobulenzi FC fell to 3rd position with Simba FC getting on top with a 2-1 win away to Bajjo United.

Manyangwa played to a 0-0 draw with Synergy to move to second place with nine points, one behind table leaders, Simba FC.

The week 5 left the once Giants, Buikwe Red Star sitting bottom of the table out of 13 teams with just 3 points from possible 15.

In Katonga Group Super Eagles Lugongwe got themselves in a lead with 10 points and 6 goal difference from 4 games to get ahead of New comers Entebbe Pride who also has ten points in Second position with Kakiri Town Council and Ntungasaazi FC sitting third and fourth on 9 points.

Dennis Kiggundu of Manyangwa FC and Elkanah Nkugwa of Wobulenzi FC tie on five goals while Buikwe Red Star’s Alex Segawa and Marvin Busuulwa of Bajjo United are both on three points.
