Bika Tournament Finals: Clan Heads Call Upon Bazzukulu to Fill Up Wankulukuku on Saturday

The clan heads positively responded to Minister, Owek. Henry Ssekabembe Kiberu’s call upon them to mobilize their Bazzukulu to attend Bika tournament Finals at Muteesa II stadium Wankulukuku on Saturday 11th, March, 2023. 

On Wednesday, Minister had a meeting with the Clan heads and their prime (Ba Kattikiro), today at Bulange Mengo in the press briefing they held in Kooti ya Kisekwa, the clan heads called upon their Bazzukulu of all Buganda clans to storm Wankulukuku on Saturday to support the Clans that’s on final and to prove to the world that Buganda means people.

“We take this time to thank the clan heads and their Committees for putting in place all needed to see that your clans take part in Bika tournament especially in this economic challenging time. We thank the Organizing Committee of this tournament. So we call upon all the clans, Bazzukulu to come in big numbers at Wankulukuku and fill the stadium on Saturday. Let’s come and enjoy together as People of Buganda.” Said Clan Heads leader, Omutaka Namwama Augustine Mutumba.

For starters, in Football final, Lugave will be playing against Ndiga and third place playoff will be between Kkobe and Ffumbe while in Netball, the final will be played between Ngeye and Mmamba Gabunga and the third place playoff is between Lugave and Nyonyi Nyange.

The Ngeye Omutaka, Kasujja asserted that his Kika is already a winner because the support is on their side.

“Our victory is already visible, people here are already supporting us, the other support we need in yours (omuzukkulu), victory can’t come to you when you remain at your shop, or workplace, only come at Wankulukuku and support you clan and we win this.” Says Kisimba Kasujja, Omutaka for Ngeye.

This time round, the winner Football final will walk away with 9 million shillings, runners up, 7m, third 5m and fourth place 3million shillings. 

The winner of netball will win 7millions, 5m for runners up, the third will go with 3m and the fourth takes one million shillings.

The tickets are to be sold at the gate that will be open at 9am on Saturday. The ticket is at 10000/- ordinary, 20000/- VIP and the students will be paying 5000/-.
