Beach Soccer AFCON 2021: Muwonge Optimistic as he Names The Final Squad To Senegal

The Uganda Beach Soccer national team The Sands Cranes head coach, Salim Jamal Muwonge revealed his final 15 man-squad for the forthcoming Beach Soccer Africa Cup of Nations Finals in Senegal.

Having gone through a number of training sessions since 9th of May in a residential camp at FUFA Technical Center in Njeru, the tactician has decided to take the 15 who match his expectations for the tournament which shall take place between 23rd and 29th May 2021.

The Senegal tourney will also act as the Qualifiers for 2021 Beach Soccer World Cup to be held in Russia.

While announcing his squad that will set off on Wednesday 19th May, Muwonge says;

We have had a good training for the Championship, we expect to compete at the tournament, All the players are in the right mood, mentally and physically“.

Uganda is in host’s group A with DR Congo and Tanzania.
