Rushenyi: The Minister of State for Labour Employment and Industrial Relations Hon. Mwesigwa Rukutana has challenged all the newly elected political leaders in Rushenyi and the country at large to avoid divisionism and disunity among the electorates.
According to Rukutana, all leaders from Rushenyi county and Ntungamo should address the problems affecting people who voted for them.
“ I argue all people that were elected in different offices to surely work for the people who voted for them instead of spear heading disunity and divisionism.” Rukutana said.
Minister Rukutana made these remarks on Monday while monitoring the ongoing construction of Karuruma Bridge that connects Rwencwera Katungamo parish Rugarama greater sub county to Kihorobo Kayonza sub county both in Rushenyi county Ntungamo district.
Rukutana advised leaders to resolve their political differences and work for the people.
“All leaders should resolve their political differences and work towards peace and development because divisionism will destroy the developments he achieved during his term” he added.
Rukutana went ahead and thanked the people of Rushenyi for voting president Museveni and promised to continue supporting and lobby for the development of Rushenyi county and Ntungamo district at large.
It should be remembered that Rukutana was flanked by his political assistant Priscah Tumusiime in the 2021 general elections.
