USSSA Post Primary Qualifiers: Mukono Kings, Kasawo SS To Represent Mukono District at Greater Mukono

The Mukono District, Post Primary Qualifiers to hit the climax on Saturday, 26th March, 2022 with two great teams on final to be honored at Naggalama SS playground.

Mukono Kings High School and Kasawo SS making it to finals following yesterday’s knockout games, they automatically qualified to represent Mukono District on Greater Mukono level where they will battle with other four schools from Kayunga District (Two) and Buikwe District (two), they would be eight at the next level but Buvuma District didn’t take part in any of USSSA Post Primary Qualifiers.

Yesterday, it was an action packed day at Kasawo SS playground and Seat of Wisdom Secondary School ground where we saw boys and girls fighting for slots to represent their district.

The games played at Kasawo SS at Quarter finals, Latifah Mixed eliminated Dynamic SS 10-09 via spot kicks following a goalless draw in normal time while Kasawo SS the hosts only a goal against Mbalala SS was enough for them to qualify to semifinals.

At Seat of Wisdom, Midland High School beat Mpoma 1-0 as Mukono Kings eliminating Bishop’s SS by 5-3 via penalty shootouts after a goalless draw.

At semifinal level, Kasawo SS beat Latifah Mixed 1-0 to reach final while Mukono Kings beat Midland High 1-0 at the same level.

In girls football, Agape Christian High School beat Merrill 1-0 as Bishop’s eliminate hosts Seat of Wisdom by 1-0 to set a final between them and Agape.

Meanwhile, the Kayunga District qualifiers reached knockout stage and on Tuesday next week, the quarters and semifinals will be honored at different grounds.

Greater Mukono will be represented by three schools at Nationals which are to be hosted in Arua City next month.
