Muganzirwaza group on Monday 6th, December 2021 enters match day four with two match day decider encounters at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru, Kyaggwe.
Leaders, Buwekula play host to Butambala in a game where the hosts need a point to make it to last eight while their opponents (Butambala) need maximum points.
Buwekula will be playing their last group game while Butambala with a game in hand against Busujju on the final day.
Frank Mulindwa coached side, Buwekula have earned at least a point in all their last three games played.
Buwekula thrashed helpless Busujju 5-1, shared spoils with last years finalists, Buddu in a two all draw and defeated Ssembabule based county, Mawogola by 2-1 score line.
Meanwhile, Butambala lost 1-0 to Buddu in the group opening match, played to a barren draw against Mawogola in their second group game.
Earlier on, Busujju will battle Mawogola in the afternoon encounter
Mawogola are yearning for maiden maximum points in the year’s Masaza Cup edition. It’s on a win today that can keep their hopes alive not forgetting a better goal margin.
Group Mathematics
- Buwekula needs just one point to seal qualification to quarter finals in their game against Butambala
- Buddu who have collected Seven (7) points need just a draw in their last group game which will be played on Wednesday 8th against Mawogola.
- Butambala and Mawogola must win their last two group games but with a good goal margin if they are to make it to quarter finals.
- Busujju are confirmed out of this years tournament and they have to play and finish their games as par the rules.
The top two teams from Muganzirwaza will face Buluuli and Ssingo who qualified to quarter finals from Masengere group.
