Beach Soccer: MUBS Start Preps A head of Invitational Tourney in Kenya

Malindi Invitational Beach Soccer Cup

Date: Wednesday 8th – Sunday 12th, December 2021.

Makerere University Business School (MUBS) Beach Soccer have stepped up their preparation at FUFA Technical Center a head of the Malindi Invitational beach soccer tournament in Mombasa, Kenya.

The team under the guidance of Charles Ayiekoh Lukula Mbuzi entered a residential camp on Saturday 4th, December 2021 at FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.

Ten players turned up for training on Saturday. The likes of Frank Bomboka, Ismail Kawawulo, Davis Elvis Kasujju, Said Munir, Johabu Twinamatisko, Isaac Mulindwa, Pate Wanok, David Arinda, Sulaiman Ochero and Roch Somoka are the players in the camp.

MUBS beach soccer team head into the invitational tournament fresh from winning the inaugural Beach Soccer Super Cup. 

“As MUBS family, we are happy for this invitational tournament in Malindi, we were considered out of all the teams in Uganda. We value this tournament”. Said Charles Ayiekoh Lukula, the head coach of the team.

“Whenever we get an opportunity to go out for any competition we want to keep not only MUBS flag high but also that of Uganda as a Country and that is why we are camping in Njeru to prepare well for the tourney”. Added Ayiekoh.

“I was requested by the management of Makerere University Business School to concentrate on rebuilding the team of football and beach soccer such that we come back to winning ways”.

 

“We got an opportunity to represent Uganda in the Malindi invitational tournament from Uganda Beach Soccer Association and Federation of Uganda Football Associations”. Noted Kato Adam, team manager MUBS

“We promise our fans out there that we are not just going to participate but we will do all what it takes and put up a fighting spirit because we want to keep the Ugandan and MUBS flag high”. Added Kato
