WINSA Storm Into Third Straight FEASSA Win, Edge Closer to Netball Defence

Morogoro, Tanzania — Defending champions WINSA Primary School continued their impressive run at the 2026 FEASSA Games after cruising past Kenya’s Masebula 50–23 in a Primary School Netball Championship encounter in Morogoro, Tanzania.
WINSA dominated from the opening whistle, taking a 10–5 lead at the end of the first quarter before extending their advantage to 17–10 by halftime.
The Ugandan champions stepped up their performance in the third quarter, opening a 28–19 lead before producing a commanding final quarter to seal a 50–23 victory.
The result marks WINSA’s third consecutive victory at the regional championship and moves them to the top of the standings with six points.
WINSA, who are defending the title they won in 2025 in Kakamega, Kenya, now have a crucial test ahead as they seek to strengthen their bid for back-to-back championships.
Their next challenge will be against fellow Ugandan side Kanjuki Junior School Kayunga in a highly anticipated encounter scheduled for Wednesday morning in Tanzania.
With the championship race tightening, victory against Kanjuki would further brighten WINSA’s hopes of retaining the trophy and maintaining their perfect start to the competition.
