Pepsi University Football League: Disjointed MUBS Hands Muteesa Unsatisfying Welcome

The two-time Pepsi University Football League championship, Makerere University Business School needed a penalty to secure a win at home against newcomers, Muteesa I Royal University.
The past newcomers in the League that has been in existence for 12 years have been facing huge defeats on their opening fixtures and the last one was ISBAT who swallowed three on road against Bishop Stuart but with Muteesa, it has been a different story.
Mbabazi Worrick Joe scored the only goal that won MUBS the much wanted three points.
Not like newcomers who are always timid, Muteesa I Royal looked a bully even on road, the visitors dominated almost the entire game though they were blunt before the goal mouth.
The Buganda Kingdom loyal boys brought the ball to the defending champions without respect especially in the first stanza.
In the 67th minute, Benjamin Nazar won MUBS a penalty after being fouled in the area, Mbabazi Worrick Joe converted it in the 69th minute, it became the eventual winner of the match.
Despite winning the match, like they were on road against Mbarara University of Science and Technology, MUBS were unsatisfying in their ball display.
Currently MUBS tops group F with four points in two matches, MUST sit second with a point and Muteesa with none.
The newcomers will be at home in their next match, hosting MUST.
Action will continue on Saturday when Nkumba will be gearing up to defend their title against ISBAT University.
