Finance Trust Women Super League: Nabukenya the Tormentor, Starts Her Routine Punishments with Rines

Agnes Nabukenya, the star girl for Kawempe as started from where she stopped last season to grab the headlines in different media outlets in Uganda.
The sixteen year old form three student at Kawempe Muslim SS has inspired Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC to a perfect start in the new season of Finance Trust Women Super League.
Single handedly the attracting midfielder has ‘burred’ Rines SS WFC in the Valley on Sunday, following her hat trick against the side that scored none on the day.
The last season’s joint top scorer with ten goals, Nabukenya handed Kawempe a lead in the 33rd minute via a coolly taken penalty, Kawempe to win the penalty, skipper, Phiona Nabulime was fouled in the forbidden area and the centre referee of the day, Shamirah Nabadda pointed at the spot for Kawempe to get a lead.
Ten minutes later, the Tormentor, Agnes returned with a flash header to make it two for the hosts, thanks to Shadia Nabirye’s well delivered cross from the right flank.
14 minutes past the second stanza, Nabukenya completed her hat trick with a far post strike, thanks to Hadija Nandago assistant, the forward made all the donkey work for Agnes to finish perfectly.
Substitute, Dorcus Kisakye also had a clear opportunity to make it four for the hosts but her attempt was denied by teammate, Sumaya Nabboto who mistakenly stood in the path of Kisakye’s shot.
Kawempe Muslim team that won last season’s title remained intact apart from the departure of defender, Shakira Nankwanga who has joined Kampala Queens in the just concluded primary transfer window.
Rines SS WFC lacked the services of their pacey forward, Prisca Ayerango who is still nursing the ankle injury. Her absence gave Kawempe’s defence comfortability since they had not tough forwards against them.
The other game played on the day ended in a 0-0 draw between Makerere University WFC and She Maroons at Makerere.
Only school based clubs that have managed wins in the match day one apart from She Corporate, that’s Kawempe Muslim Ladies FC and Amus College WFC that beat Olila 1-0 on Saturday.
Currently Kawempe tops the 12 team table with three points and three goal advantage.
Match day two will take place next weekend on Saturday, October 5th and Sunday, October 6th at 10 am.
