Fresh Dairy Games 2024 | Girls Football: St Noa Bites Hard, Turns Boni Concilli into ‘Boni to Concede’

St. Noa Girls School Zzana put up a seven star performance in the last quarter final of the day that was played at Standard High School Zzana Ndejje campus.
Out of the four quarter finals held on the day, this one was a very sided game from the opening whistle and it produced hat-trick and a brace with an own goal of the day.
Sylvia Kabene became the second player on the day to score a hat-trick, Sumayiyah Nalumu had a brace, Mandera Nancy and an own goal from Mackline Niwandinda completed a 7-0 performance.
In the opening 10 minutes, the game looked to be tight but when Mackline Niwandinda netted into her net from a simple cross laid by Sumayiyah Nalumu changed the flow of the game and the remaining minutes were just a walk in the park for the 2022 Fresh Dairy Games champions.
Sumayiyah Nalumu doubled the lead for St Noa with a press in the 25th minute before she completed her brace of the day in the 35th minute with a classic free kick.
Kabene started her free scoring journey in the 38th minute with a long range strike, she caught keeper off her goal line and made it four for Noa,she returned on the scoring in the 49th rebound and completed her hat-trick in style in the 67th, when she received a well calculated through ball from Sumayiyah Nalumu, put down the back of Boni Consilii minus sparing the goalkeeper and put the ball at the back of the net.
Today’s hat-trick takes Sylvia Kabeene’s goal tally to 22 so far in this year’s championship and she is the current tournament top scorer.
The victory for St Noa pushed them to their seventh semifinal in history and they will be facing the record champions Kawempe Muslim SS who eliminated Uganda Martyrs High School via 5-3 spot kicks following a goalless draw in normal time.
In the other semifinal, Amus College who thumped Sacred Heart Gulu 5-0 will test their worth again when they will meet Rines SS who secured a 2-1 hard fought win against Sheema Girls.
