Fresh Dairy Games 2024 | Table Tennis: Seroma Upsets Ubuntu, Day two Sinks Giants

Day two in table Tennis brought in big wins for the ‘small’ teams over Giants.

The perfect example was Mukono based school, Seroma Christian High School who beat Wakiso giants, Ubuntu Hill in a fixture that played on Sunday 28 April at Ndejje SS. 

After going into a decisive set, none ranked Seroma Christian picked up a comfortable win over seed two school Ubuntu Hill 3-1 in group D contest.

Also in group D Mbogo mixed got a win over St Joseph Naggalama 3-0. 

Defending champions, Kibuli SS in group A picked up a perfect start beating Nkoma SS, Namilyango College defeated by St Michael International also in group A. 

In group B Caltec Academy, Ntare School and Mbogo mixed all were on winning note beating as Nyakasura lose twice to Caltec and Mbogo while Ntare School beat St Joseph Naggalama 3-0. 

In Group C Mbarara High won 3-1 over St Mary’s College Kisubi, Mbogo College defeated Seeta High 3-0 on Saturday evening. 

There was also a shocker in girls as Nabisunsa Girls fall to Iganga Secondary School 1-3 with Mbogo Mixed defeating St Joseph’s Naggalama 3-0.

As it was in boys category again Kibuli SS in group A won 3-0 over MarryHill as they continue with their aim of defending the title. 

In group B Seeta High School Mukono won over Trinity College Nabingo 3-0 and Mbogo College defeated Nkoma SS 3-0.

Mbogo High registered  a win over Sacred Hearts Gulu 3-0 and Kawanda SS had theirs again the same losing side (Sacred Heart). 

The table tennis clash is returning to action on Monday 29 in day 3 with 8 fixtures in both boys and girls.
