Fresh Dairy Games 2024: Sylvia Kabene on Hat-trick as St Noa Continues with Perfect Run

Sylvia Kabene continues to shine in an ongoing Fresh Dairy Games when she added on her tally with three goals as her side, St Noa Girls thumped Onset SS 6-0 in the fixture honored at Ndejje University grounds. 

The goals moved Kabene to 14 goals in three games. 

Sumayiyah Nalumu, Imelda Kasemere and Esther Babirye also appeared on the score sheet.

The goal trail started with Sumayiyah Nalumu before midfielder, Imelda Kasemere doubled the lead for the Zzana based side. 

Apart from the scorers, Titie Nakyeyune was an outstanding player in the middle of the park, doing broking role as well as ball distribution writing her name among the new kids on the broke.

It was a result which sailed St Noa girls Zana moving closer to knockout stage leading Group H with 9 points and 22 goals before conceding any. 

Onset SS head Coach Benya Otim was not shocked by the result and he is still focused on Progressing to the next stage.

“We have so far played 3 matches, lost two and won one, today it was not an easy task, this is our first time at Nationals, playing big teams like St Noa Girls is always not easy that is done now the focus is on our last two games because we want to go through the group”

In other fixtures, Kawempe Muslim SS, another giant beat Bishop Comboni 5-0 while Sacred Heart Gulu hammered St Kirigwajjo SS 4-0. 

Highway SS Kiganda whitewashed Aidan College with 5-0.
