SUPL: ‘Is he of Street or total Football?’, Obua on another Big Test as URA Visits Vipers
After losing the last game 3-1 to KCCA FC which was the first league defeat for Vipers this season, the Venoms will test the mighty of David Obua’s URA FC tonight at St Mary’s Stadium Kitende.
This is going to be the second game in charge of URA FC for new Coach David Obua who dropped points in the last minutes in his first game when Brian Aheebwa netted the equalizer for Kitara to share points in a 2-all draw in the last game.
Obua will be looking to beat all the odds and win his first game for URA FC against defending champions who haven’t lost any game at home this season.
In the previous games, the two sides met in Kitende, it ended in 1-all draw with Patrick Mbowa (now at Vipers) scored for URA FC while Karim Ndugwa netted the equalizer for the Venoms.
This season, Vipers have won two and drawn once in the three home games while URA FC, haven’t registered any away win this season, drawing 3 and losing one.
Vipers have defeated URA FC 8 times, lost 8 and they have shared spoils 10 times in the last 26 league games they have met.
A win for Vipers SC, will take them to second place while a win for URA FC will take them to the fifth place on the table.
Allan Okello is set to be handled his long awaited debut after he was unused substitute against KCCA while Murushid Juuko and Hillary Mukundane still sidelined.
Jack Komakech, Rogers Torach, Bright Anukani and Yunus Sentamu return on Thursday morning from Uganda Cranes engagements and unlikely to feature.
URA set to miss Enock Walusimbi who got his third yellow card against Kitara
Samuel Mwaka is injured and will not feature.
